Who we are?
🔥Played With Fire creates immersive and original VR content, specializing in system-rich adventure games. Each of our games so far had at least one scientific twist – be it a weird take on astronomy, alchemical crafting or physics-altering gadgets.
🔎Now, for the first time we’re making a game with a fully realistic art style and serious atmosphere. A mix of genres, but with focus on horror! We’re looking for a Narrative Designer with a passion for the genre and with relevant experience! We’ll hire a person who can enrich the studio with their skills and unique POV, and help maintain the high quality of our VR projects. Sounds like a challenge for you? Apply!
🔥 In Played With Fire you’ll be dealing with 🔥
- co-creating the main campaign narrative
- writing dialogs and lore texts in English
- creating quests and guiding the Player in experiencing the plot
- implementing events and dialog lines in Unity
🔥 Requirements 🔥
- advanced writing skills in English
- relevant experience in dialog / story writing and/or narrative design
- knowledge of first person action and stealth games
- passion for telling stories through world-building
🔥 Skills that would give you an advantage 🔥
- experience in horror genre
- experience with narrative design tools
- experience working in Unity
- understanding of level design as a tool for narration

🔥 What does recruitment look like? 🔥
👉 Within a few days of sending your CV, we will call selected candidates to talk for 10-15 minutes. Then you will meet Marta or Bartek.
👉 The second step is a video conversation with Marta or Bartek, the purpose of which is primarily to get to know each other better and get information about your experience and career history.
👉 The third step is a recruitment task.
👉 If your work turns out to be what we are looking for … you will be invited to the last stage, which is a technical video interview with Igor, which is our Lead Game Designer and BizDev. He will verify your experience and technical knowledge.
